We are getting all nostalgic over here! 🕰️✨ Let’s share a bit about us. Why are we called ARTHUR’S? Breakfast is the most important meal of the day…. And didn’t Arthur just know it! Arthur was a local farmer who always stopped for breakfast - cooked by his good wife Winnie! We are sure that Arthur would be made up with the cafe that his son, daughter-in-law & two grandsons have created.
The land Arthur’s is on was offered to Arthur for free many years ago, but being the busy farmer he was, he declined, considering it just another bit of land to upkeep. Fast forward, the family later bought it at auction - certainly not for free, of course! Arthur’s was always the plan, with lakeside views & a countryside setting. Foundations were laid in 2019, unfortunately due to Covid Arthur’s stayed as just foundations for over a year! But we keep moving 🫶🏼 and in November 2022, we opened our doors. The design embraces the family history, the setting it’s nestled in & the warm Yorkshire atmosphere we wanted to create. We love watching Arthur’s grow & shape but most of all, we absolutely love seeing customers enjoy their time with us! 🌳 ✨

Join us until late on Fri, 29th & Sat, 30th March for a wine and cheese extravaganza! 🍷🧀 Rob from @houltswinemerchants will be joining us on Friday, pairing 6 different wines with 6 different cheeses selected by our head chef served on our antipasti board. Settle in between 6-6:30pm, pairing to start from 7pm, £45pp ** please note limited availability** If you would like to book larger parties please phone us.
On Saturday, enjoy a wine flight experience with 4 cheeses, again served as part of our delicious antipasti board. You will get your own taster card guiding you through the pairings at your own pace making for a relaxed, low key, interactive evening. Tables available 5pm-8pm, £35pp.

💫 Meet Eve 🌟 Eve has been delighting our customers since the day Arthur’s opened! She’s a vital member of our Front of House Team and enjoys having a good laugh with customers & colleagues! Eve enjoys working in the team here at Arthur’s & also loves seeing all your lovely dogs that visit us on our terrace & in the pods. Eve is our coffee art connoisseur, her favourite hot drink is an oat milk latte with a dash of vanilla syrup! Fun fact - Eve is a dog groomer in her spare time 🐾✂️🛁 🐶
